Continuing its tradition of seeking talent from abroad, Tales Beyond has signed Filipino artist "Roi" to illustrate the first story within the comic book adaption of Kris Burgos's "The Corrupted". Roi will be penciling and inking the 8-page short, tentatively titled "Assassins in the Tavern". Set to be initially released within the pages of Buddy Scalera's second anthology from his Comic Book School, titled "Creator Connections: Panel Two", this story will kickstart another long-gestating title from the writer's stable of ideas with the intention to birth another franchise at Tales Beyond.
